Measurement scripts

These are the scripts that produce every number published on openwebdata.io, exactly as they exist in my repository. Start with how-it-works.txt: it walks through what one run does, what is stored and what is discarded, the volumes, and a short Finnish–English glossary, since the code comments are written in Finnish.

No credentials are here. The scripts read proxy credentials from a file kept outside the repository, and none of them are shared with anyone. The output of every run is published separately as raw result files.

FileWhat it is
how-it-works.txtHow the measurement works, written for a reader who has not seen the code
aja.mjsThe run: five plain HTTP requests to each target through each provider, and the classification of every response
selain.mjsThe same measurement through a real browser (Playwright, Chromium)
rotaatio.mjsAddress rotation only: 100 consecutive address lookups, no target sites
kohteet.jsonThe target list, with the marker that proves the real page came back
rajoitukset.jsonTargets a given provider does not permit. Those requests are never sent, and the result is recorded as “not permitted by provider” rather than as a failure
